Obama to Bankers: Help us Rebuild our Economy!
President Obama is putting pressure on the nations top bankers to open up the flow of credit in order to help rebuild the nations economy. The President pointed out the assistance that taxpayers have given the banks and demands that the banks return the favor. In addition, the Whitehouse is demanding that banks stop gouging customers with outrageous fees and hidden overdraft charges.
This is great news for those looking to rebuild their credit. Often times borrowers with poor credit get there because of a life challenge, but then are forced to live in financial ruin due to excessive borrowing costs preventing them from paying down balances or getting on their feet.
